Regular Season Round 3: LDC Ignite - Ponton 88-100

No shocking result in a game when Ponton (5-1) beat on the road LDC Ignite (1-6) 100-88 on Wednesday. Ponton dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to LDC Ignite's 54. It was an exceptional evening for forward Brayan Rosado (196-2001) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 10 rebounds. Swingman Randy Santos (195-2000) accounted for 24 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. American guard Kylon Jarreau (185, college: Adrian) came up with 24 points and the other American import guard Khalil OBannon (190, college: Yavapai CC) added 20 points and 5 rebounds respectively for LDC Ignite in the defeat. Five Ponton and four LDC Ignite players scored in double figures. Ponton will meet at home Puerto Plata (#4) in the next round. LDC Ignite will play against Immortals in Santiago and hope to win that game.
